Getting started
What is FOKiiS?
FOKiiS is business software for photographers. It runs your booking page, client galleries, photo selection, paid extras, invoicing and delivery, and collects payment at each step through Paystack. You shoot. FOKiiS handles the business around it.
Who is FOKiiS for?
Professional photographers and studios in Nigeria who are serious about running their photography as a business: wedding, portrait, events, corporate and more.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new account gets 14 days free on the plan you choose, and you don't need a card to start. Trial storage is 20GB on every plan, and subscribing unlocks your plan's full storage. Nothing is charged until you subscribe.
Do my clients need an account?
No. Clients open your booking page or gallery from a link. Galleries can have a 4-digit passcode if you want them private.
Can I use FOKiiS on my phone?
Yes. FOKiiS works in your phone's browser, and you can install it on your home screen like an app.
Pricing and fees
How much does FOKiiS cost?
Basic is ₦9,900/month, Pro is ₦19,900/month and Business is ₦45,000/month. Pay yearly and get 2 months free. See pricing for what each plan includes.
What fees do you charge on client payments?
A small fee applies only to payments your clients make through FOKiiS: 5% on Basic, 3% on Pro, 2% on Business, capped at ₦5,000 / ₦4,000 / ₦3,000 per payment. Higher plans pay a lower rate.
Who pays the Paystack fee?
By default your client covers the Paystack fee at checkout, so you receive the full amount less the FOKiiS fee. You can switch this off in your payment settings and absorb it yourself.
Do you offer a student discount?
Yes. Photography students get 40% off any plan for their first year. See the student program.
Getting paid
How do I get my money?
Client payments for bookings, extras and upsells land in your FOKiiS wallet. Withdraw to your verified Nigerian bank account whenever you like, from ₦1,000, with a ₦100 withdrawal fee. You confirm each withdrawal with a code sent to your email.
How fast are withdrawals?
Most arrive within 30 minutes. Occasionally Paystack asks for an extra check, and our team completes those by hand.
Which currency does FOKiiS use?
Nigerian naira. Prices, payments and withdrawals are all in ₦.
Is my clients' payment information safe?
Payments are processed by Paystack. FOKiiS never sees or stores your clients' card details.
Features and plans
What are plugins?
New accounts start with the core tools: galleries, clients, packages and bookings. Everything else is a plugin you switch on from the Plugins page. Portfolios, reviews, invoices, upsells and add-ons are free on every plan. Others, like watermarks or a custom domain, come with higher plans or can be added on their own.
Can I use my own domain?
Every account gets yourname.fokiis.com. A custom domain like yourstudio.com comes with Business, or you can add it as a plugin on Basic or Pro.
Can my team use FOKiiS?
Yes, on Business. Add up to 3 team members. Assistants can run everything except money, billing and team settings. Editors only see the galleries you assign them.
What happens when my trial ends?
Subscribe to keep going, on the plan you tried or a different one. If you don't, your account is paused, not deleted. Your galleries, clients and settings are still there when you subscribe.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time from your billing settings.
